Apple designer Jony Ive set to leave Apple after 30 years
Whenever the name Apple is mentioned, there are three major names that are always synonymous with the company. They are Steve Jobs, Tim Cook and of course Jony Ive. However, Jony Ive is the least famous of the three. But very important to the success of the company for the past three decades. He has been responsible for the iPhone design for over the decades.
He has also been credited with the designs for the iPad as well as Mac and other Apple products. Well this time looks like he has finally found that fame that has so eluded him over the past three decades. This is because he has announced his departure from Apple. This is to form his own design company and guess what, Apple is going to be his first client!
The name of the new firm will be called LoveFrom and I guess he’s trying to say “Love From Apple.”
Apple customers don’t need to be worried about the future of the company as Tim Cook plans to retain his services afterwards. Tim Cook released a statement saying. “Apple will continue to benefit from Jony’s talents by working directly with him on projects and through the ongoing work of brilliant and passionate design team he has built. I am happy our relationship continues to evolve and I look forward to working with Jony long into the future.”
