The new LG V50 ThinQ 5G full specification and review
The new LG V50 ThinQ from South Korean tech giants LG was first announced at the Mobile World Conference back in February this year. However, we later discovered that the device was suffering from optimization issues. This led the company from suspending the release of this device indefinitely.
Now LG has confirmed that it will launch this monster on May 10th in its home country South Korea. There, it will be available via Korea Telecom, LG U+ and SK Telecom.
The price of this beast will be a jaw-dropping $1,030 straight up and will most likely rival Samsung Galaxy S10 5G device. For now, the company has not said any word on when the device will hit other markets but be rest assured, it definitely will.
LG V50 ThinQ 5G display and software specifications
As far as I’m concerned, LG remains the undisputed king of the display. The all-new 2019 LG V50 ThinQ 5G has a large 6.4-inch QHD P-OLED display which is perfectly crafted and designed for high definition gaming and watching movies. No doubt the device will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
LG V50 ThinQ 5G processor and storage
However, this device is fueled by the most powerful Qualcomm processor in the land. Being a 5G smartphone, it is made of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU and Snapdragon X50 5G modem. This configuration is to enable the device to switch easily between a 5G network and LTE network with ease.
It also has a 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage capacity which can be further expanded with external microSD card of up to 512GB.

Furthermore, it has a triple rear camera setup that consists of 12MP + 12MP + 16MP sensors. The front camera is a dual camera setup with 8MP + 5MP sensors. It is powered by a non-removable 4,000mAh battery capacity which may also come with fast charge capability. A 3.5mm headphone will also be available, something smartphone enthusiasts like me really love.
