The all-new Apple Mac Pro has been unveiled with Intel 28 Core Xeon CPU and 1.5TB RAM
Apple has launched its most powerful Mac, the Mac Pro after so much waiting and speculations. The new powerhouse is here to replace the “trashcan” 2013 Mac which was disliked by Apple customers. With this new Mac Pro, Apple has returned in a big way to the PC segment as this machine is built on ultimate performance.
Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior VP of marketing says the Mac Pro is designed for extreme users. Those who need extreme performance from a system that’s expandable and configurable. Of course, that statement makes absolute sense. This is because as this new Mac Pro delivers a mammoth memory of up to 1.5TB and 28-core Intel Xeon processor.
However, as far as the graphics are concerned, you have an option to load the device with Radeon Pro Vega 2. Or the Radeon Pro Vega 2 Duo. You also have an option to choose up to 4 GPUs which makes this device the most powerful machine on the planet.
Apple own accelerator known as Afterburner is also present in this beast of a device. This programmable ASIC has the power to decode up to 6.3 billion pixels per second. Making it the fastest as well. Don’t think this machine will come cheap. This is as the base model has been pegged at a price of $5,999 and will be available this fall.
