The Chinese smartphone maker, in collaboration with UK’s automaker McLaren has produced the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition.  The teaser of the global launch event says “Salute to Speed,” which means the device is going to be a powerhouse. Already we at TechCapon already know what to expect in terms of the specs of this device.

This device is going to be the most powerful device ever to come from the smartphone maker OnePlus. The company already has a long history of partnering with well established brands in it’s devices. It has previously partnered with popular Hollywood studios to unveil the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, and the OnePlus 5 JCC + Limited Edition ‘Callection. Now the OnePlus 6T Edition is finally here and it’s going to be a blast.

The device is going to compete with powerful devices like the Black Shark Helo gaming smartphone, Nubia Red Magic Mars and others. That’s because the deice will pack a huge 10GB RAM and 256GB storage. This will be the first device from OnePlus to pack such huge memory. This huge memory will be the major difference between this device and the original OnePlus 6T. Everything else is going to remain pretty much the same.

OnePlus 6T McLaren will sport a 6.41-inch Full HD+ OLED display.  Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor powers this device. The front selfie camera will be a 16-megapixel shooter.  The rear of the phone is a vertically aligned dual camera of 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel respectively. The camera will have other features such as the EIS, OIS, and the Nightscape feature. The battery capacity will be 3,700 mAh which is 400 mAh bigger than that of the OnePlus 6.

Of course, there’s no headphone jack or rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Rather what it’s going to have will be an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock. Android 9.0 Pie based on it’s own OxygenOS is rumored to be the software .  We’re pretty sure it will be more expensive than the normal OnePlus 6T variants.
