After an era of pop-up selfie cameras which didn’t really go down well with the fans, the battle for a truly bezel-less screen smartphone has graduated to an in-display selfie camera. This appears to be the final solution to the problem which has terrorized smartphone companies for ages.
How it works

After that, just tap on the camera which is hidden under the display and the image opens up. This is the first time ever the technology has been demoed by the Chinese company.
However, there’s no word yet on image quality or even the specs of the device itself. Also, Xiaomi is set to join the big league of under display selfie smartphone makers by filing a patent for the same technology. This is made known via a tweet and it suggested that the company plans to incorporate a secondary screen under the primary display.
This is the new trend people and its set to enter the tech world whether we like it or not. But unlike the unpopular pop-up camera technology, we will definitely be seeing lots of future devices coming up with this latest trend. As a new technology, no one really knows how good or bad it will be in the long run, we just have to wait for the devices to be released to find out.
