World’s largest chip maker Qualcomm is set to unveil it’s latest product. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 in an even slated for December 4th. The event will take place in Hawaii and the company has already started sending out media invites. This chipset will be the most powerful smartphone chipset ever when released. It will see performance increased by up to 30% when compared to Snapdragon 845 SoC. The Snapdragon 8150 chipset will be the successor to last year’s Snapdragon 845. Which featured in every major flagship this year except Apple of course.
Rumors about this chipset is already flying around the place. The processor is based on the 7nm FinFET process technology. It could support three-core architectural design, comprising one large core, three medium cores, and four small cores.
Well, other source say the all powerful Snapdragon 8150 processor will support 5G technology and is expected to make it’s debut in the upcoming the Samsung Galaxy S10. For all Apple fans out there, don’t expect to see this chip in future iPhones. That’s because Apple and Qualcomm has cut off it’s business relationship and is embroiled in a bitter legal battle. Apple has however chosen Intel as it’s new chipset supplier.
