The all-new 2020 BMW 7 series also known as the BMW 750Li xDrive is the epitome of luxury and beauty. It is not really a new generation of the 7 Series but it does come with obvious upgrades in design. Not only does it come with an upgraded design, but it also comes with a whole lot of tech that makes the car stand out among others. At techacapon, we call it the bread and butter flagship of the BMW family. A series of fresh refinements have served to enhance safety and comfort in this powerful luxury sedan.
The most noticeable upgrade in design is the fact that it now comes with a much bigger grille at the front than before. Upfront it looks more like the BMW X7 SUV with a bigger grille. Thinner headlights and a redesigned front bumper clearly define this fierce looking luxury car. The windscreen and windows are 0.2 inches thicker so as make the interior of the car quieter. For those who want to save extra money on fuel, there’s a plug-in hybrid version also available.
Under the hood
In terms of powertrains, the buyers have a variety of options. The 740i pump out a 3.0-liter I6 good for 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque, good for a 0-to-60 sprint of 5.3 seconds. If you think that’s not enough, you can upgrade to the 750i. The upgraded 750i wields a powerful engine of 523-hp, 553-lb-ft V8, dropping the 0-to-60 time to 3.9 seconds. The high-end M760i, which has a 600-hp, 627-lb-ft V12 accelerates even quicker. All-wheel drive is available on the V8 and V12, but optional on the I6. All versions of the car come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The BMW 7 series Tech
The car comes with air suspension, soft-close doors, a panoramic glass roof, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, and gesture control. The rear of the car is loaded with BMW Touch Command tablet for manipulating the rear-seat entertainment, which includes two 10-inch displays and its own Blu-Ray player. Not forgetting the wireless charging feature, it also comes with standard equipment which includes blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, auto brake, parking sensors, and a surround-view camera.
The price of the car is not yet known as the company says it will release the price later.
